• Delano family Fairhaven shipping family whose Warren Delano Jr. headed Russell and Company at Canton, whose daughter Sara bore Franklin D. Roosevelt, and whose Frederic A. Delano chaired the National Resources Planning Board.
• Frederic Adrian Delano Railroad executive and vice governor of the Federal Reserve Board who chaired the League of Nations opium commission in Persia and the National Planning Board, and was the uncle of Franklin D. Roosevelt.
• Warren Delano Jr. Warren Delano Jr. was a Canton partner of Russell and Company in 1840 to 1846 and 1861 to 1866, acted as vice-consul there in 1839 to 1842, and died at Algonac in 1898.
