The Bureau of Export Administration entered an order on September 15, 1994 against Augusto Giacomo Giangrandi Valenzuela, also known as Augusto Giangrandi. The order recites allegations that between February 14, 1983 and June 11, 1988 he conspired with Carlos Cardoen and others to export zirconium from the United States to Chile contrary to the terms of export licenses, which were issued on the basis of the conspirators' prior representations.1 Under a consent agreement, the order denied him export privileges for ten years, with the last five years suspended for five years beginning five years from the date of the order, provided that he met his obligations to the government and committed no violation during the suspension.1

The Florida Division of Corporations lists Augusto Giangrandi as president (PDT) of Swissco Management Group, Inc., document H19133, filed in 1984 as Swissco Investing, Inc. and renamed Westfield Holdings, Inc. in 1990, with Jorge Ondarza as VS and Abbey Kaplan as registered agent. He is president of Swissco Leasing, Inc. (document M24568, filed December 12, 1985, voluntarily dissolved October 5, 1990), with Anthony Mijares Jr. as vice president.23
The registry's officer search for Giangrandi also returns Swissco Yachting, Inc. (M35237), Transcommerce Importing Corp. (M21016), Towne Centre Executive Plaza II, Inc. (G98591), Soliberts Properties, N.V. (P10779), Carissa Investment, Inc. (P94000006250, under Augusto G. Giangrandi), Swiss Grill Corporation (P01000108869) and Fla - 3L's, Inc. (P05000116971).4 Records found do not establish whether the Florida officer is the respondent of the 1994 order, whose address is in Santiago.
